Don Westerland - Vice President; Project Manager

Don Westerland was eager to achieve a childhood goal of becoming a General Contractor, entered the building field directly out of High School. While experiencing the industry from the ground up as an apprentice, Don attended both CSULB and USC from 1979 to 1982 majoring in Business Management. Don was licensed as a General Contractor in 1982 and formed his first business endeavor, a partnership with a long time friend specializing in tenant improvements. After several successful years in the partnership Don made a move and formed the Westerland Corporation and in the following fifteen years he expanded his project focus to include new multi-million dollar custom homes and a commercial division for Hospital and Dental facilities. In 1996 with a better quality of life in mind Don moved his family to the Napa Valley where he joined Praxis Construction and Tim McDonald. In mid 2005 Don was again motivated to join Tim Mc Donald and his partners as they branched out to create Centric Building Inc. Don currently sits on the board of the St. Helena Skate Park Inc. and actively participates in a number of philanthropic causes.
